Loss Adjusting is a fast-paced, complex field of insurance with no 2 files quite the same. Whether it be a home fire, a fender-bender, or an injury caused by a major accident, the ClaimsPro team determines coverage, legal liability, and settles claims with excellent customer service.
ClaimsPro relies on their Administrative Assistants to support the branch staff and producers in the delivery of quality service to our clients. This position is for our ClaimsPro Centralized Services department.
Salary for this role is: $37,000 annually.
The key focus of the position is to provide effective and efficient administrative support within a fast paced environment. The position duties include typing, computer work on our internal software program and MS Office, billing/invoicing, and may also provide other administrative and clerical support to various branch staff. Other duties as may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Daily review, correction and/or rejection of centrally billed invoices; Advise SCM staff on the necessary corrections to make them compliant to guidelines, with instructions to resubmit when completed.
- Educate adjusters about task entries, WIP, formulas, rates and any specifics for their particular client
- Ensure complete transfer of notes in task lines, case information & required attachments & if these items did not transfer, to manually enter same
- Creation of compliant invoices
- Submission of invoices to Allegient and qualify assessment and/or additions to invoices once on the Allegient website
- Create and submit bulk billings to client
- Assist Centralized Manager and Collection Administrator in gathering information & preparation of spread sheets.
- Reversal and rebillings as requested
- Assistance to SCM staff as requested in areas of billings, Allegient submissions or other requests
- Ensure Schedule B documents are attached to Zurich files and that directives on Schedule B have been performed by adjuster
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Grade twelve diploma
- A post-secondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preference.
- Proven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment

The Property Claims Supervisor will actively manage the day to day Adjusting Team composed of Property desktop adjusters. This position involves leading and managing staff within our National Accounts business division with respect to quality and customer service excellence, training and development, and technical support. Role Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Personal Lines and Commercial Property claims adjusting

We have an existing opportunity to add a Junior or Intermediate Property Field Adjuster to our team! You will work in a Hybrid based environment supporting field requests within the Calgary area.
Job Summary The Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have background/experience in property.
Key Responsibilities

Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.

Investigate the cause and report to clients with solid recommendations.

Using supplied technology (e.g., Docusketch.), scope and establish quantum of damages.
-
Identify exposures, recommend reserves, recommend investigation required for exposure, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
-
Throughout the claims process, provide high level of customer service to clients and the insured.

Participate and share ownership and responsibility for afterhours customer service requirements when required
-
Perform duties assigned to him/her in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:

Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with property claims.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).

Alberta Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing exam

Ongoing commitment to education and learning, preferably pursuing CIP designation as well.

Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics

Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.

Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.

Overview:
The Claims Supervisor oversees a team of automobile liability adjusters, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation. This role ensures high-quality adjusting services and supports the team’s growth and development while delivering customer service to meet the clients’ needs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Support achievement of financial and production targets through management of KPIs such as abeyance, adjuster billings and daily production.
- Completion of quality assurance reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Act in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters and technical issues.
- Provide training on an individual and team basis on an ongoing and consistent basis.
- Recruitment and development of new staff and management retention of current employees.
- Advance Employee Net Promoter Scores.
- Manage staff licensing and educational licensing requirements.
- Support National Accounts Operational Revenue budget.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree or combination of education and equivalent business experience.
- CIP designation or working towards completion and ability to be licensed in multiple provinces.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automobile claims adjusting.
- Prior Supervisory experience is an asset.
